“Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana in questo resort in solo pernottamento. Camere grandi e bellissime, tenute e arredate molto bene. Pulizia quotidiana impeccabile. Personale gentilissimo, la tappa in piscina tutti i pomeriggi rendeva piacevolissimo il rientro dalla spiaggia, la vicinissima playa norte. Lo consigliamo assolutamente a chiunque! ”

“This was such a wonderful place to stay. The staff were very friendly & always helpful. The location was in the heart of the island, on Main Street, surrounded by great shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend! ”

“ All is well until the hotel decided to host Passover for about 1500 people that were coming in and started shutting down our accommodations. We ended up with three restaurants left on our last two days because they were accommodating the group coming in. They also forgot about their regular guest and were more attentive for the ones coming in, which was very disappointing.”

“Very great location and vibe, the private suite in which we stayed was very spacious although there was not enough light. Breakfast included only on very few dishes and not much flexibility. Beautiful pool and beach.”

“Excellent service, room was spacious and comfortable, staff is amazing, food is good (but they could have a daily special which could bring something new to the menu, and also more seasonal). The buffet at Le Bisous restaurant was spectacular. The only downside is as a gay couple, we would have found appropriated to be called Mr and Mr, on the welcome letter (it was Mr and Mrs). It is not as if the hotel did not know as we pre checked in and also I contacted them prior to the trip to be sure...

“Staff at the property were lovely! You sort of get what you pay for, it’s nice they’ve made the effort to modernise the property but you can tell it’s still a little worn. But as mentioned you get what you pay for. One down side was the water ran really low on our last night, only to wake up the following morning with the toilet not flushing and no water coming out of any taps. I had to use a water bottle to get water out of the pool so the toilet would flush. ”

“Avevo prenotato una stanza frontemare invece sono stato alloggiato in un seminterrato dove il mare si vede appena e il soffitto non supera i due metri e 10. La stanza doveva essere di 30 mq invece era appena di 12 mq molto piccola e tanto sconfortevole che io e la mia compagna non abbiamo neppure disfato la valigia. La responsabile sig.ra Rita è una persona incapace e arrogante avevo chiesto il trasferimento a una camera migliore pagando un sovraprezzo ma al mattino seguente era già prenotata...

“Pros: pools are nice, bartenders give good service, rooms are large and clean, easy for kids to eat whenever they want. The beach is actually very nice with cabanas for shade and good service from The bartenders. Long and difficult check in, food is not great at all, drinks never taste that good. Long waits for eating dinner bc you can’t make a reservation so be prepared to show up early and wait for very mediocre food. ”

“This is a basic hotel. The rooms are a bit outdated, but the staff is nice. The pool is small with only four lounge chairs. You will need to walk to get to the beach - this hotel has a dock only. ”

“Villa Elena lives up to all the 5 star reviews it receives. Value for the money, cleanliness, staff, comfortable bed, A/C etc. etc. If there's another or better place at this price point I'd love to know. If I'm ever back in Isla Mujeres, I'll be definitely staying here. ”
